CEG Partners With CenterBank
The Cincinnati Chapter of the Collective Empowerment Group (CEG) has forged a partnership with CenterBank of Milford Ohio. According to Eugene Ellington, President of CEG, “We are pleased to add CenterBank to the CEG family. This partnership moves the Cincinnati Chapter of CEG toward fulfilling its goal of fostering economic empowerment and community development.”
“We think this is good business to proactively develop relationships through CEG” added Stewart Greenlee, President of CenterBank. “We were founded on the concept of serving our community. CenterBank is pleased to have the opportunity to serve more than 15,000 new customers and businesses.”
According to Ellington, “CenterBank is the right fit for our banking and business development needs.” Since its inception, the local chapter of CEG has continuously grown to its present membership of more than 25 churches, representing over 15,000 members and 45 businesses. For CEG, the opportunity is to leverage the economic power of minority churches and the minority community in support of community growth and development. Identifying a financial institution which will work with churches, business and the minority community-at-large engages each and moves them toward self-sufficiency.
